I think its a mix, to add some of these newer talents and put them into story mode...I would love 6 side of steel match too...

I have a another reason.I heard WWE Raw vs Smack down 2009 is getting released near september (I just heard).So I think TNA wants to show WWE how good they are at making video games too.

I hope they are adding more things to the game, but I bet most likely the reason for the move is sales. September is the early Christmas season shopping. The true fans will buy it right when it comes out, but some people will wait until Christmas when they get it, but that is most likely one of the reasons. Only time will tell.
Also Smackdown Vs. Raw 09 is coming out in November, I have checked the release date on IGN and it is saying November 08. Smackdown games never come out before October, I think once they did and ever since then it has come out in November.

I personally don't think its any of those options. As a games developer myself, there is no way they would be doing anything that substantial at this late stage of development. The extra time is more likely to be small tweaks, balancing and bug fixing.

I have to admit I didn't realise the six sides of steels wasn't going to be added... they should definitely make that DLC, then!

So you make games.Well I am a Animator(not so good).Well you have a point there.The sales will be bad but now I have a feeling that they are going to add the whole roster even they have said 25 wrestlers only.
