Title matches in an exhibition match.
I don't think a game since WM2000 has done that and it would be a great feature in TNA Impact. It was so fun being able to create a title and defend it in a regular singles match against the computer. You could have a bunch of titles and it would stat track and tell how many title defenses the champ had and the date he lost the title on.
I hate how in most wrestling games you have to buy the titles for a lot of in game money and you can only defend them in PPV mode, or in season mode or online.
Does anyone know if this game will have a simple championship feature where you can defend titles against friends or just defend the title yourself against the computer?

No Mercy did that too.
You can defend belts in regular matches in Smackdown vs. Raw 2008 also.

Wrestlemani 2000 and No Mercy are not Midway games, nor are they related to TNA, this thread should be locked or removed

One of the big things the team has done is make comparisons to WWE No Mercy. For a lot of us, that is the best wrestling game, and the entire genre has taken a nose dive.
Fire Pro and No Mercy will get a lot of mentions, because they are the high watermark that iMPACT is going to have to live up to, and where they should be drawing their inspiration from.
Get used to it.

i dont think any of wwe's games have been made by midway since warzone or whatever one was on the supernintendo and tna is in no comparision to the wwe at all.. the wwe games and wrestlers would tear them apart. its not a competition wwe just had more backers (you know ppl with big money, tna has cornette)nothin good with him thats why wwe got rid of him

Yeah I agree, should definitely be able to defend belts in exhibition. IMO that gave WM2000 and No Mercy such a longer shelf life as you could recreate old matches etc.

Another awesome thing WM2000 did was the looping replay of how the match ended, I miss that feature a lot. It made doing something cool to finish the match a lot more worthwhile.
