Even though I am a Christian Cage mark, there is no denying that Kurt Angle is the best wrestler on this list. He has done WAY more in his career than A.J. Styles (somehow the heavy favorite) and his mic skills are FAR superior.
A.J. is good in the ring, but he SUCKS on the mic. There's a reason he won't be Heavyweight Champion any time soon.
Same goes for Tomko, although he doesn't suck on the mic. Tomko isn't great (yet), but he is a hell of a lot more entertaining than Styles. He's getting better in the ring, certainly well enough to go off on his own and become a main-event guy in the future. Give him a few years to polish his skills and he'll be right up at the top (provided he sticks around long enough).
Cage is one of the best in TNA right now, hands down (and I'm not just saying that because I'm a mark). His in-ring work is terrific and he has great mic skills to match. Plus he is one of the few guys who can be great as a face and as a heel. Still, he hasn't accomplished as much as Kurt has so he's not number one in this group.
Sting, well he's just a legend of the business and he's paid his dues. Yes, he's getting old, but he can still put on a hell of a match and he's definitely over with the crowd. He can still cut a nice promo and is better not talking than Styles is on the mic. Sting is the man, but not the top guy.
On to the so-called "Prince of Phenomenal" A.J. Styles. I don't see how this guy is being voted the best on this list. Yes, his in-ring work is good and he's been in TNA since the beginning, but that's only half of it. His mic skills are horrid. Christ, the man can't cut a promo to save his life. And he may be the future of the business, but he is definitely not the best right now (especially not on this list).
Finally my number one: Kurt Angle. Now, I'm not a big fan of his, but he is definitely one of the best in the ring today. The man has accomplished so much in WWE and TNA, there is NO WAY A.J. Styles can be compared to him. Styles is not even CLOSE to Kurt Angle's level in the ring or on the mic.
If I had to order this list, it would probably go like this:
Kurt Angle
Christian Cage
Sting
Tomko
A.J. Styles
Disagree if you must, this is my two cents.

i must say first i respect everyone on the roster they all give us the best show they can every show,.
this is how i rate them personally,.
1. styles his name says it all he is versatile,aerial one moment, mat technical the next,.
2. cage cocky an arrogant an very good wrestler tag or single plays the crowd very well either way,.
3.tomko is an ok wrestler not one of my favs as most like him because he is a big guy but we all know you don't need to be buff to make an "IMPACT" lol sorry had to make the pun, i do like that he is his own man,.
4.angle for me is soooooo over rated its sickening yes we know he is a gold medalist it was said so much before that we can never forget it,.is he a great athlete? of course he is i'm just sick of all the gold medal stuff,.we get it,.
5.sting for me is the most over rated wrestler in TNA not as good as he used to be but still a great wrestler,we all have wrestlers we like an don't like so obviously he as you see isn't one of my favs

he was not only the first triple crown winner, but he did it 2 or three times. he's held every belt in TNA. sure joe and angle have but they have only done it once.
