	This forum began and i thought ....this has to be a good sign, because that means this game must be coming soon...however not even a solid release date and all the talk makes me think it might be cancled, please someone give me a hint on what is going on because i am lost.

	I don't understand what everyone wants from this game? It was demoed last year, screens were released in March, a forum was made, the game is listed in Midway's 10-K form, what more confirmation do people want?

	I'm with you guys. I've been waiting for this game since the original footage was released a way's back. Dont get me wrong i see the good it a long development time...thats one thing, but the fact is that its going one one year since even NEWS, and im sorry that is not normal, you hear about a game, and then you get a demo and usually 6months to one year later you got the thing home and you are playing it, i dont know what they are doing to this thing, but with the time they have had we could have freakin virtual reality vegas, with show girls in my house and wayne f-ing newton singing im my kitchen.

	Maybe they are busy with what the company has on its plate right now? or maybe they are waiting for a good time to drop more info... you know like E3 or something? I bet all companies are holding onto info until then so it could get lots of coverage. it would make sense.

	The problem is we have not heard word one from a rep of surreal or midway in almost a year and thats why im soo nervous, because lets be honest and no offense to Wheelman at all but GTA kept Take-Two ALIVE!!!!, and here midway has basically a GTA game in VEGAS!!!!!, the coolest place on the planet, and they push out Wheelman before this MIDWAY!!!! you are sitting on GOLD!!!!! put you muscle behind This is Vegas, that is gonna be you salvation more than anything you have!!!

How many times do I have to say this, new screenshots WERE RELEASED IN MARCH 2009. And if you really think a new IP will somehow do better then games like Mortal Kombat and TNA iMPACT this year....

	Im not sure what you mean by IP, but what i do know is that GTA4 sales almost matched the enitre sales volume for the Wii this past year, because open world is what everyone wants now, i have no problem with Mortal Kombat, but you cannot deny the fact of MK sales vs GTA sales, MK got killed. What new screen shots i have seen the sames ones on the site forever.

	Simply because open world games like GTA4 are a genre, and logically i would think as a company if we have a gta-like game set in VEGAS for god sake and GTA4 sold like 8 million copies or whatever that would be the game i would put my stock behind. Could you post link please i cant seem to find it.

	Smallvillefan, I agree completely with your posts including the lack of new screenshots. I also like your comment, "an open-world game set in Vegas for god's sake". This is a great game concept. Frankly,I wish they had left out the shooting and fighting (and perhaps even racing) aspects of the game as those are not really Vegas activities. Instead they should have built upon the things in DOA Extreme. Why some people dis on this game just amazes me, unless they are teenagers who have never been to Vegas and therefore just don't get it.
