	I've been trying to get Blacksite working for about two weeks now. I've tried every suggestion in the previous posts - changing resolution, editing ini files, uninstall/reinstall, applied the patches, not applied the patches, etc., etc., etc. NOTHING WORKS. I still get the black screen with a flashing cursor when I try to run the game. Sometimes, I get a blue screen indicating an infinite loop from ati2dvag.dll (no luck getting a solution there either) I've submitted two requests to Midway support and have gotten no response. My PC is more than capable: AMD Phenom II X4, 4gb RAM, 500gb HD, Sapphire Radeon HD 4870, Win XP Sp3, DirectX 9.x All of my drivers are current - audio, video, bios, etc. I can play Dark Sector, Call of Duty WaW, Left4Dead, Lost Planet, etc. with absolutely no problems (in fact I can play them all at their highest settings!). WHAT THE HELL?

	I've got the same problem as well. The "solutions" mentioned in the support center won't work either. My system meets the minimum system requirements.

	WAIT 'TIL YOU HEAR THIS CRAP! I submitted an issue with Midway (taken over by Warner Bros.) They are telling me that the game won't work with my Radeon HD 4870 because it's too new! Here's the exact quote: Joel D. at Misc - Warner Brothers Customer Support posted: Unfortunately your ATI Radeon HD4870 video card did not exist when the game was developed and tested, and is not supported by the game. This must be some kind of sick joke. Since when does exceeding the minimum equate to non-support? OK - Anyone out there have a new Radeon 48xx card with Blacksite working so I can show these jokers that they're wrong?

Great ... i've got an HD4870 as well - now i know the answer to my question that i mailed to midway "support". As they're letting us down perhaps we should ask AMD(ATI). I've completed the "Catalyst Crew Feedback Form" (driver developers): http://www.amd.com/us/CatalystCrewSurvey and would advice you to do the same.

	I put my comments on the Crew site. This is bogus - since when is a game not compatible with newer cards? I think they have no solution, no team to fix it or look into it, and they're hoping we'll all go away. They're not counting on the fact that I can be a real bastard if necessary.....

	Uh.. I have a TON of old games that no longer work with my computer, because they were built for earlier models. Sorry for your troubles, but this isn't exactly a new thing. And complaining about it here won't do anything except get you booted from the forum. There is no official tech support here, the only way to get it is to call Customer Service.. which you've already stated you plan to do..so.. good luck! -----signature----- That which does not kill us makes us stranger.
