Which hard-drive size do you have? Cause only the 80gb is supossed to be 100% backwards compatible. All others only play psone games, not ps2. If you have the 80gb, u might just need to download an update.

Marketing gimmic; basically to trick folks into having to buy more than one or an upgrade, and for folks who never had the ps2. There is a rumor of a new white ps3 that is supposed to have 120gb+ hard-drive, so I imagine it will have 100% backwards compatibility too.

Upon boot-up, the title hangs. = is what ps.com says. And apparently the from what I read, the 60gb was more backwards compatible than the 80gb. It says Rampage will work fine on 60gb; hopefully the new system I mentioned earlier will be fully compatible, & not have as many bugs as the previous models. (or else I may never buy a ps3) Sorry but it appears until a further update is released the game won't work.
