Ok i've tried alot of things mostly from the suggestions alot of users have said but i've finally found a fix that worked for me...THIS WILL WORK IF YOU HAVE AC97 Audio, with the latest driver 4.04 (GOOGLE THAT) basically go to Sounds and Audio Device Properties and where it reads...speaker settings go to advanced, once on this go to Performance and turn the the Hardware Acceleration to the 2nd lowest bar (Basic) and make sure the Sample rate is on the highest (Best) then press ok and run Blacksite...
I may say though this won't work for all, but it will work for some so you might as well try it

There many makes and manufacturers of AC97 Audio codecs. Which one in particular are you referring to?

sadly this didn't help on my via chipset ac97 but thanks for the effort at least we are narrowing the fault down. So far it seems the gamers have done more work towards solving this than midway have.

Boy I really want to like Blacksite: Area 51...I thought it looked like a great game and I liked Area 51, but the technical issues it has are killing my enjoyment of it, notabley the souns issues with cahracter voices. I have a fairly BAMF sound card, The Razer Barracuda AC-1 gaming sound card, and I was suprised when I started playing the game and the character voices were not able to be heard. I was more even more suprised that a 114 mb patch didn't fix this problem, or the bad blur motion. I have been looking over the forums and so far haven't really found any fixes for the sound voice problem. Has anyone found a fix for this, or is there a post for this that I have missed?
