Hiya,
So far this game - Blacksite Area 51 - is looking quite promising but like most games I've played this year it seems to have skipped the last couple of months of playtesting and tweaking, leaving a few prominent issues for the gamers to flag up.
One of these is the mouse sensitivity. Set it to 100, the maximum allowed on the settings screen, and you will still find that it takes a few sweeps of your mouse over your mousemat in order to eventually fully turn around. I can only guess that all the playtesters for the PC version either use mice that allow meta-tweaking outside gameplay, or they all find it realistic to be shot at from behind and take 15 seconds to turn around, in increments of 5 degrees per mousemat sweep... compare turn speed in Blacksite at 100 mouse sensitivity with the majority of comparable FPS games, and it is sluggish to say the least (Blacksite 100 sensitivity = F.E.A.R halfspeed setting).
So, is there any way of ramping this up outside of the game's menu, like in a cfg file somewhere? It sucks way too much with the snailpace turn ceiling.
Thanks

I'm thinking we have the same or similar problem. Blacksite installs just fine. Patches just fine... loads right up...then, my guy just moves in circles... I can't see a darn thing thats happening. Changing the mouse sensitivity from 80 to 100 did allow me to get a better view of whats happening around me...but i still can't move at all with(w,a,s,d). I'm running an E6700 @ 3.3ghz ,4gbs Kingston DDR2667(3.25 in xp pro), ABIT AW9D-MAX mobo, XFX 7950GT Extreme(driver version 163.75) Help a brother out...what to do what to do????

I'm not sure about this game, but in another game with the same issue, it turned out to be a joystick calibration problem.
Do you have a joystick plugged into your computer?
