Game resolution not supported on 32" LCD

I am having trouble getting the game to show on my T.V. I am using a 32" LCD and when I go to launch the game, I get the splash screen and then it goes to load the video for the game...at the top of my screen I get "Not Supported" message from my T.V.
What I Have Tried:
1. Updated the DirectX to 10
2. Updated the video driver (7800GTX)
3. Tried running in compat. mode
4. Re-installed the game
5. Ran windows update
6. Disabled firewalls and re-installed the game
If anyone has a suggestion please let me know. And please do not ask the specs of my PC, this is not the issue with the game (my system is up to date on it's hardware cap). It is something between the resolution the game uses to launch and my TV not supporting that resolution. I just need to know how to change that resolution.

I had the exact same problem. But I managed to fix that.
Do this :
1: Start the game
2: Press ALT+ENTER to use windowed mode
3: When in menu go change the resolution to what your TV supports.
