Before you play Unreal Tournament 3 , Download the latest Direct X 9.0c Runtime
You all may be saying you have the latest Direct X installed to your PC, but did you know Microsoft updates the components monthly and may add new ones to the ones already included? These newer components will often be required to play the game, and failure to update to the latest build of Direct X may result in your game failing to launch. This results in the game saying a file is missing. Usually d39xxxx (Whatever it claims)

I instaled ut3and it instaled fine tried to run it so clicked on ut3 exe it started to boot then went to black screen took a bit the blue screen pop up not even long enough to see then restarted my computer game will not run
system is a 4200 + dual core amd processer nvidia 7300x2 vid card 1gh mem 120g hard drive

I have the most up to date Direct X 10 and 9.0c and still the game crashes at the same point every time my system exceeds your recommended standards but yet it crashes if I have trouble running it on a AMD X2 6400 with 8GB of ram and twin 1GB HD 2900 XT with 5 TB of HDD space available what am i to it;s say my ini file is out date what is this error and how do update that file?
