I have an Asus A8n, Athlon 64 x2 3800+, 2GB Ram, Lots of HD space, and an Nvidia Geforce 7800 GT-OC from BFG. In the stranglehold settings however, I see three options, Resolution, Decals, and Dynamic Shadows. Decals and Dynamic Shadows can be switched between yes and no, however resolution can switch to several options between 640x480 and 848x480, (800x600 is also possible, and arguably higher, however 848x480 shows up after 800x600) and doesn't go any higher. I know that 1024x768 doesn't work with the game, however I have a 19" monitor, my desktop resolution is 1600x1200, max 1792x1344, and I would like to be able to play at least at 1280x1024. Make a shortcut , then go to its Properties, and add this to "Target" : –resx=xxxx –resy=xxxx .
Mine is –resx=1280 –resy=1024
