I suppose any positive news about system specs is highly appreciated by all of us awaiting Stranglehold on the PC, but until Midway themselves can confirm any official system requirements, I'm not going to get excited.

i hope this is true...i only have 512 mb of ram...yea i know thats week...im saving my money for more but if stranglehold can play it with 512 i may wait till christmas to upgrade...if the game isnt on my christmas list that is lol

lol..that makes more sense, it's hard to have a job, and go to school and have football practice so christmas and b-day are my best bet for good hardware most of the time

I'm aware that STH supports XP and Vista but does it support the 64bit incarnations as well? It would be assuring to know that STH is future proof.
And why is Midway is so secretive with the requirements?

As already said the PC-Games (german print magazin) have tested the requirements.
* 14% more fps with dual-core CPU
* 8800 GTS works best
* the combination 3000+/Geforce 7600GT is to weak

Geforce 8800 GTS (640MB), 2GB = 72 FPS
Athlon 64 X2 5200+

Athlon 64 X2 4200+
Geforce 7900 GT, 1GB = 28 FPS
Athlon 64 3500+ ,
Geforce 7900 GT, 1GB = 24 FPS

you do realize that there is a flaw in giving framerate without mentioning the size of the frame, right? and that includes all other options that would affect the framerate.
that being said... people should just stick to either:
a) Midway OFFICIALLY releases a spec requirements list...
b) the demo comes out...
or c) the game comes out...
whatever comes first.
until then... just about EVERYTHING any 3rd party says is speculative. even if they tested it... doesn't change the fact that "things change" from a beta/release canidate build to the final build... hell, even a demo with one set of requirements could easily be different than the full game.

Oh sry i forgot the resolution.. it was tested on 1.280X1.024 No FSAA/AF
As i've seen in the past, the requirements which are set up by developers never reach such accuracy as from good print magazines.
