Rise & Fall doesn't work!

I can launch the game and the video works fine, its just when I click on anything really it tends to freeze especially when I click on any buttons to start a game whether it be the "Learn the Game" or a campaign!
Any help would be greatly appreciated as I have been waiting to play this game for agesssss!

Same problem here. Took ages to install, kept getting crc errors. Anyway, got it installed, and when i click on anything it shows it loading, but then crashes back to windows. I have the latest drivers etc. You had any luck yet mate?

CRC errors usually mean a bad disk. There are a couple of patches out for the game you can try downloading them to see if they fix the problem.

CRC means bad disc? I've gotten a few and my disc hasn't left the drive since I bought the game other than for a cleaning after the first one I got. They happen randomly during online play.
It does tend to freeze up sometimes when I click on some of the tabs. It could be bad design or an issue with the copy protection, I have no other applications running and I far exceed all system requirements, I turn off the firewalls to play, have the port ranges added, and all my drivers are completely up to date. It's normally not debilitating it just tries my patience now and again.

CRC during online play? Are you sure that's what's coming up? CRC's only occur when you are copying for a disk. Anyways, you don't need to have the disk in your drive when you play. After the disk check completes you can take the disk out.
