hello, I've played suffering ties hat bind, with several issues.. all games will lockup randomly during a level, make a loud buzzing noise.. have to reboot to restart game.. this has hapended at least 10+times. sometimes levels will not give exit out.. i've been stuck in 9,11, and 15 twice. 9 and 11 simply made new charater and got past it useing a three save method, saveing two previous levels behind, if it sticks replay the level before and it usally lets me past. level 15 (lifetime compaion) being the exception. I've played level good and bad, same problems haapens both times.. kill all the solders, leaving just the helicoper.. no doors will open, no cracks in the walls.. no futher attacks.. have tryed downing the chopper, it seems to be invincable. have tried hitting the chopper with 3 rpgs and 6 gernades.. it never damages. gate in upper leavel will not open, sliding gate on lower level will not open, though there is a ladder the other side of it. tunnel that came in is on fire, door on upper level behind wall with windows will not open. map is useless, just showing buildings. forklift will not move but does expolde nicely, dont be near it.crates and blue drums serve no purpose but to block your movement. if anyone has a hint to what has to be done, i'd appericate it.

Hey there... I can't make it through scene 15 at all, the damn game keeps freezing and locking up completely. I'm on a PS2 and it seems like others have the same problem with this game. Have you heard anythin else?

Yes I am having issues as well.. in the stage where I meet up with the warden, the top of the building is not there.. and I fall off into space..
Sucks because this is my second time through and I'm trying to get the "Good" ending...
How could this game make it to the shelves with so many issues?
Its a GOOD game... Please patch it for us or something.

Section 15 is passable shoot the helecopiter keep saving your game shoot at the engine on the tail it takes a while, the helicopter smokes more each time you hit the engine. eventually the engine damage blows up the helicopter. the upper gates open for you to fight jordan. you will have to use the machine gun where she stood to kill malifactors. ggod luck and be patient.

have the same problem on XBOX- ie locks up on roof with warden.. anyone got any ideas??

On PS2 mine locks up everytime I climb the ladder after first meeting the warden. Sounds like I have a lot to look forward to!
I've tried every 'in-game' combo and even returned the game to the shop for a replacement - no dice.
Is it a corrupt save? Do I start the game over and need to save after every sequence so I can backtrack as mentioned somewhere in this forum? WTF?!! absolute BS
- has midway offered ANY tech advice or plans for recalling the game?! - WTF, wheres the justice here? How can you release INCOMPLETE betas to the $50 a hit-buying public?!?!?
Sick game, great atmospherics but nothing RUINS the experience faster than a $%^#@(!* REBOOT during gameplay!!!

Wow, and I thought us PC Gamers had it bad. Seems we are not the only ones to have to suffer from publishers out for the quick buck.
I have to turn off 3D sound buffers or my game is a stuttery mess. Hardly acceptable considering the type of game, and the fact the I have no 3d sound problems with every other current pc game release...

I had the exact same issue. Are you using cheats?
I was and I had to restart the game because their was no getting past that part. I would just ed up floating around in space. I avoided using any cheats and was able to get past that part. Although I have had the game lock up and do many other weird things at different points.
Especially don't use the invincibilty cheat. That will %$*# your game up!
I am a huge fan of The Suffering and the second one is amazing but to have a game that locks up and gives me problems (especially after I spent $60 on it) is complete B.S.

I have the game for Xbox, beat it, and never had a problem. I would make sure you're not using codes or cheat devices. Also, clean your Xbox. More often than not dust will cause read errors and generally make things clunk. Run a disc cleaner in your drive and dust out the inards of your Xbox with compressed air. It's weird that you're having such problems with a console version.

Have recently purchased this game on PS2, and have got to end of level 6 and when go threw door nothing happens, took the game back to shop as thought it was faulty but the same thing has happened again. so purchsed it from another shop and still happens at exactly the same spot on 3 separate disks
Anyone got any advice ?????
