Mortal kombat trilogy!

I bought mortal kombat trilogy for my ps2 but the game is for ps1... but the question is why does the game has some slowdowns?When i finish the mortal kombat tournament or 8 player tournament the game stops! i have waited 20 minutes but it doesn't do anything!

I've heard the game freezes when u play it on PS2 here are people discussing about it

I can vouch that I never had any problems playing the original release or Greatest Hits release on my PS1 when I had it. PS2 would be a different story though, as I've never played it on it. I hope you have a PS1, Trilogy is a great game.

Aww, now I know why mine was acting up. 
It also freezes with music win you let your continue count reach 0 after losing against the Computer.

That plus Trilogy has alot of problems anyway. I bought it new also then heard about slowdown problems from afriend and dug out my PS1 {Scary in my basement each box has letters like aa on it j/k lol} dusted it off and tried it and still had slowdowns and freezes up the yin yang mainly when using or playing against Shang Tsung with unlimited morphs. I'm not sure why it does this on the ps1 and ps2 but it does.

I got MK:Trilogy for my PS2 and the same thing happened! I wouldn't have known cos I couldn't beat Shao Kahn, but my friend did with Noob. Now I know why - I thought it was because the game was scratched oor something. Thanks guys!

i think trilogy must be 1 of the hardest mortalkombat game i hav played i hav finshed every other mortalkombat and i hav finished trilogy as well but that took a bit longer to finish
