Some of you have noticed MidwayGenie hanging out around the forums over the last couple of days. Please give him a big welcome, as he is going to be working as a community manager for Midway.
What is a Community Manager? The definition varies from company to company, but usually a CM's job revolves around gathering feedback and information from the fans and presenting it to the developers for consideration, as well as being the developer's representative to the communty.
It's a tough job, and we're VERY happy that MidwayGenie is going to be joining us!
In many forums, the users will go crazy trying to "outshout" each other in order to get the CM's attention. Please note that posts that seem to be doing this, in the moderator's opinion, *to the detriment of the community as a whole* will be removed and possible action taken against the user. This doesn't mean he doesn't want to hear your feedback - but it does mean that you should be respectful and reasonable in your posts. Things like posting the same thing in every thread, regardless of the topic of the thread, hoping to get Midway's attention... or posting all caps "MIDWAY READ THIS!!" titles are bad. You've been warned.
