Well, with all the activity on the MKvsDCU, BlitzII, and TNA iMPACT forums, our participation has risen steadily over the last 4 months - by around 400%!! We're holding steady at these increased posting levels, and so it's time to start looking for some more people to help handle the load.

Please read the following requirements carefully - and don't apply if you don't qualify!

1) You MUST be at least 18 years of age or older. There are NO EXCEPTIONGS TO THIS RULE! Please, please please don't send me a PM saying "but I'm really mature for my age!" or "you should hire me even though I'm 14!!" If you aren't at least 18 years old as of right this very minute, please don't apply. Any applicant that is chosen will be required to send me proof of age before beginning moderating duties.

2) You must be willing to sign a legal contract acknowleging that you are a volunteer, and don't expect to be paid or to have benefits. You also are bound by privacy and other rules, and can be held LEGALLY liable for violations of any of the moderating policies. This is the reason we don't allow moderators under the age of 18. You must be age 18 or over to sign this contract, and minors can't be sued if they deliberately and maliciously break the rules.

3) You need to have around 8-10 hours per week to spend reading the forums and doing the behind-the-scenes moderator stuff.

4) You need to be mature, with a willingness to help out other users and show customer service skills, and put up with all of the documentation/paperwork/recordkeeping for your moderating actions.

5) You need to be able to speak/type English fluently. Your grammar/spelling skills should be excellent. Remember, a moderator represents Midway on the forums, and Midway doesn't want ppl who tlak lik dis, u no?!1!

If you've read through all that, and are still interested (and qualify, as listed above), please send me a PM with the title "Moderator Application". I'll respond back with our application, which you then can fill out and send back to me.

I will be sending out applications until Tuesday, Aug 12. I will be accepting completed applications until Thursday, August 14. After all of the applications have come in, I will then be evaluating them. Please don't send me a PM 5 minutes after I receive your application, asking "did u hire me? Huh? Huh? Did ya? You like me, right??" - if you do, it's an automatic "no". wink

It'll probably take me a few days after applications close to go through them all and come up with the final candidates, after which I need to get Midway's approval on them. Then those candidates will be contacted, and we will begin the legal paperwork stuff. So be patient, please.. this isn't like fan forums, where the admin can just say "Oh, I like you! Ding, you're in!"
