I know one thing The whole DC thing did help boost sales and bring in new fans who now love the mk characters aswell. If they released a Mk vs Dc 2 and it was mature would that make you happy? Would It boost sales? What makes more money a teen game or mature game?

I don't know about him, but I personally have nothing against the DC Universe, but it shouldn't be intertwined with the Mortal Kombat universe. Mortal Kombat with DC and a Teen rating did not feel like Mortal Kombat, Kitana's weird looking Kiss of Death Fatality is evidence of that. Beheadings, limb severing, and gallons of blood might not make a great game, but it makes a great fighting game even more enjoyable. As to new MK fans, you do not know that, all these "new fans" that bought this game may not come back for any other game in the franchise, they probably didn't go back and buy or download older games within the MK franchise; yeah, it increased sales for one game (which isn't entirely provable, we don't know how much MK8 would have sold), but in the end, that did nothing but keep the true canonical sequel out of MK fans hands for another year, Midway still went under and we still have to wait for all this legal troubles to clear up before we get another MK, the true sequel. As to what makes more money, a Mature or a Teen Rated game, considering last year's top seller was an M-Rated game, GTA IV, and this year (if you ignore Wii's shovelware) 4 of the top 5 projected top sellers are M rated (Resident Evil 5, CoD:WaW, Killzone 2...and Pokemon rounding it off) the rating doesn't seem to to hold back the sales of a great game. -----signature----- That feeling of infinite emptiness that gnaws at your soul refusing to be filled is the secret that drives our humanity to a greater existence every generation.

Well Captain Marvel was originally Superman's rival from another comic book company before becoming DC property. Captain Marvel is actually one of my favorite characters in the game. The way he says Shazam is epic.
