Months after the game out how many people still play the game? How many still own the game? How many people buy DLC?, etc. They could just write it off and be done with it, in the games industry companies often do this for full on retail games.

There's still plenty of people online playing this game, so I'm sure quite a reasonable number would buy the DLC. Also remember with MvC2 coming out there will be revived interest in the crossover fighting genre soon anyways. I just don't see how they'd lose money here. On a side note, wouldn't that send an awesome message to Marvel & Capcom? 	Yeah everything is ok there was no buy outs no problems someone tell this dude Midway just got slaughtered, obviously Capcom has no such problems. Once again like I said it costs money and Midway does NOT have any(and if you think WB is gonna lend it to them your tripping) Second of all who cares about DLC for a broken game. Absolutely USELESS! Best we can hope for it to see the new characters in part two lol

I'm aware that Midway is dead, but Midway is now...WB Interactive Entertainment! The WB has (and has always had) a vested interest in MK vs. DCU and they now have an opportunity to make some quick money if they release the already finished (or very near finished) DLC. That's my argument. If you don't like it fine, but don't insinuate that I don't know what's going on. If anything WB releasing the DLC would send a message to Capcom (and other competitors) that it means business with this new arrangement, and they hope to compete! If I were in charge (and obviously I'm not) and I had already completed work (which by the way already COST the company money to produce in the first place) which only needed to be released, I'd certainly make sure it found its way to the marketplace. In fact I'd be sure to release it on July 29th just to mess with Marvel vs. Capcom 2's mojo! There's nothing wrong with a little healthy rivalry.
