Here you go guys. I just created a new account and played the story mode through again to unlock Darkseid and Shao Kahn.

After doing that, I took some notes to help you guys who are struggling with the promove/super move achievement. I have to admit, the second time around, this award was a PIECE OF CAKE and SO MUCH IS NOT NEEDED to get the achievement. I really hopes this helps and alleviates some of the unnecessary stress that this game is causing you guys.

Here is every move and promove with every character that you need to succeed. Enjoy happy

Oh yeah, keep in mind, I play this on a PS3, so I had to change everything into attacks 1,2,3,4. Because of all these numbers, please realize that I am human and that there may be a minor mistake here and there. To the best of my knowledge, every move is accurate though.

Pointers:

-I had a "clean" slate so I know what works and what isn't necessary
-I completed the challenge in "Practice" mode
-I did NOT do any "free fall combat"
-I did NOT do any throws
-I did NOT do any "close kombat"
-I did NOT do any "test you might"
-If I say "also in air", do the move on the ground and in the air
-If something about this guide confuses you, ask me to clarify!

Special Moves:
Sharp Spark: D, B, 1 (hold 1 for delay as well)
Scrape Kick : F, F, 2
Chop Chop Blades: B, B, 3

These are ALL the super and promoves you need. If you have questions about ANYTHING, or if anything in this guide is confusing, feel free to ask me.

Like I said, I just created a new account to start with a completely "clean" slate. I played story mode to unlock Shao Kahn and Darkseid. I then went to practice mode and performed these moves in about 30 minutes and voila, I was awarded with the Super/promove achievement. I know these work!

Just to clarify, you do not need to start fresh like I did and create a new account. Just go into practice mode and go down the list, move for move. I only did so to know EXACTLY what is needed and what is not needed to get the achievement. By the time I had gotten the achievement for the first time, I had finished everything in the game except the pro/supermove achievement; therefor, I wasn't completely sure of what was necessary. Now, I am.

Thanks for the guide dude, now I have all the achievements thanks to you! The only promove that I was missing was Raiden's lightning bolt to vicinity blast.

Thank you sooooooo much. You got me the trophy! I tried so many guides but yours worked and I think I know why. My last move that I didn't complete was flash's 2,2,1 into the d,b 2. No one has that move listed in their guides. You are the greastest thank you mucho.

I've been awarded with the achievement twice now, so I can confirm they definitely work. It seems that numerous other people can now confirm that they work too. I would suggest printing out the guide, and then just going through the moves one by one, checking them off as you complete them. There may be one move, and I mean only one move, that you overlooked or missed.

Also, if there is a move in question that you think you may have done, but are not quite sure if you did it right, just ask. I have spoken with several people that were supposedly 100% percent sure they did a certain move, but they really didn't. Just hit me.

As for the rest of the people who were awarded with the achievement...congrats happy

I'm not sure I follow what you're trying to say. If you're saying I left those out, I didn't as they are included in the guide.

There may be one move, and I mean only one move, that you overlooked or missed.

Also, if there is a move in question that you think you may have done, but are not quite sure if you did it right, just ask. I have spoken with several people that were supposedly 100% percent sure they did a certain move, but they really didn't. Just hit me.

As for the rest of the people who were awarded with the achievement...congrats happy


I am going to have to try it again. If you did the move previously....do it save to memory or must you do them all in one sitting?

I've been awarded with the achievement twice now, so I can confirm they definitely work. It seems that numerous other people can now confirm that they work too. I would suggest printing out the guide, and then just going through the moves one by one, checking them off as you complete them. The moves are saved...I, however, found it rather easy and not too time consuming to just sit down and do them in one sitting (about 30 minutes).

Oh, and Zirtoc, good luck buddy. Lord knows you deserve it. I really hope the guides helps.
