	Im gonna take a moment to compare MK vs DC and Street Fighter IV and also SC4 I wanna first say that Ive always been a mortal kombat fan and i never touched a street fighter game seriously until Street Fighter 3: 3rd Strike came out, and I fell in love with that game and still to this day play it. Never really cared about the SE/SC series until SC2(which was amazing), but still ive always liked the elements of the Mortal Kombat series. The main problem with any popular fighting game is that sequels constantly struggle not to be the same game they were before, and it doesn't happen too often when they developers break this chain. With the new version of probably the three most popular fighting games ever(Tekken has been blah post Tekken3) all coming out in the same year..im gonna post basic facts about each game...and post gameplay vids to discuss which game you think is better. Yea i know this is a MKvsDC forum, but there are some ppl not too happy about the game and they post why if they feel the need. SC4: Has the largest Character roster with about 30+ fighters between the 3 games + a create a character mode(which i hate in fighting games) Street Fighter 4: Has the smallest Character roster with about 16..possibly a few hidden characters MK vs DC: Kind of in the middle between SC4 and SF4 with 22 chars a few hidden and maybe even some DLC characters. Gameplay: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oIhKvGS8deU&NR=1 SF4: Seems to be the fastest paced of of the 3 with really fluid animations. Sadly they removed the ability to parry in SF 4 and spamming Fireballs and sweeps plagues the game yet again http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p4ffoMSxCGo SC4: Same old Soul Calibur 4 pokes and counters, ring outs. They did seem to add some sort of a finishing move which you can almost never use in actual kombat. Pace of the game varies depending on the characters you play. It can be a poke fest ala Nightmare vs Astaroth or fast paced and flashy ..Cervantes vs Maxi http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a4cM27_y-tg MKvsDC: This is the MK game ive been waiting for. It has the most interactive environments of all 3 games. Sweet new animations for old moves. Cool looking new moves. They finally got rid of those stupid stances. Added new elements like free fall kombat, test your might thru certain walls, Rage Mode(which im kind of iffy about), and the Close Range Kombat. If all goes well these new additions could be future standards in mortal kombat games. -----signature----- See you online!

	As much as I liked SC4 it's to gimmicky and the engine is really watered down compared to 2. As far as comparing SF and MK.. SF is a better game hands down as fighters go. MK has never had the best fighting engine. The Char all pretty much share the same generic move set. SF on the other hand from SF2 on to some of the 3D outings has remained a solid game. I still play almost all of the SF games on MAME all the time. The only MK game I play is MK2 and thats not that often. I'm a fighting game fan and as far as the tier to me in the fighting game world goes like this. 1. Tekken 2. Street Fighter 3. VF 4.Soul Caliber 5. MK 6. Def Jam 2 And yes Def Jam 2 was a hella of a fighting game. and if anyone hasn't played it I suggest you go get it. It had a very solid Engine.

	Im not in the mood for discussing them in depth with you now as I am very hung over So ill keep it short for now (; SC4: Unfortunately I never played the first SC(SE was it?) and I only played SC2 for an hour so I cant really comment on that. Here's the thing, I absolutely hated SC3,it was IMO one of the worst fighting games I have ever played,from the presentation right through to story mode...However,I picked up SC4 just because of Darth Vader and I really think its a good game. I live for MK LOL,so it will never come close, but i'd give it a 7.5/10 (; SF4: Theres not much I can say really as it is basically just SF2 with better graphics. I will probably get it...But I am sure as hell getting the new SF2 for psn(Its one hell of a long name I cant remember). I grew up with SF, but again it does not come near MK! I dont think SF4 will bring that much to the table although I think it will be pretty fun (; If they make a new SF, I think they should rethink the engine a bit(although it should remain 2D) MK vs DC: I do think that this game will be the best MK since UMK3(the best 3D one). As a old school MK fan there are obviously a couple of things I would like to change about the game, but these are only minor (; I have no problem with the DC thing as long as they give us the real MK8 I love that the 2d gameplay has been brought back,the roster is pretty decent and the DC characters surprisingly fit in well with MK. I agree with the previous post that in the past street fighter HAS always been the better fighter, but between SF4 and MKvsDC ...im definitely leaning towards MKvsDC my all time top 10 fighting games are.. 1.SF3:3rd Strike(possibly uprooted by MKvsDC) 2.MK2/MK Deception 3. Vader is fun in my opinion, but to compare him to MK, his play would be closer to a big guy like Kahn (but not an overly big guy like Onaga) as opposed to a normal character. His apprentice is way faster and flashier in moves, but I still would rather use Vader because he's Vader. -----signature----- Attention, Ed Boon and MK team: Darkseid and Shao Kahn fatalities as downloadable content. 	I'm sorry but the street fighter series is boring as hell. And until 3rd strike came out tournements were basically a projectile fest. I'm hoping 4 is good because I love vega (and the new red head). Plus the series Will never have the lengthy combos that MK is famous for.
