TotalMortalKombat posted:Ed Boon already explained this, that the DC characters have had a decline in there power levels, so they still have there special moves but not to there normal ability. And on top of that Flash only uses his super speed for short periods of time, think back to JL and other stuff he isn't constantly using his super speed then he couldn't talk to people ect... For obvious reasons, he can't utilize his super-human speed at all times, but that doesn't mean that he still can't be faster than the other characters when behaving normally. Once again, I return to the Vega analogy. If you don't like Vega, think of Ling Xiaoyu from Tekken or Pai from Virtua Fighter. All of these characters are fast, but none of them are broken. Flash could easily be balanced similarly. I do want to take this opportunity to say that I think the Flash is one of the coolest looking characters in the game. Regardless of whether or not his speed is cranked up, he will still be one of the first characters I try. I sincerely doubt my experience with the game will be deeply affected if Flash's speed is not cranked up, but I still think it would be a nice addition for the purposes of flavor.
