MK3 hate MK fans disliked the inclusion of new main characters in place of highly praised characters such as Raiden, Johnny Cage, Reptile, and Scorpion. In fact, this was the first mainstream Mortal Kombat game to lack the traditional palette-swapped masked ninjas (Sub-Zero is not counted due to his new appearance). This proved to be unpopular with fans of the series, which lead to the ninja concept being reinstated in Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3. Also, many fans found the urban areas such as subways and city streets which served as the games "Kombat Zones" uninteresting in comparison with the previous games, which contained Oriental and fantasy settings. http://psx.ign.com/objects/000/000161.html MK4/MKGold hate MK Gold's story overrides MK4's. It is one of the few 3D fighting games to have been described as having "2D gameplay." While the game was well received by fans, it's considered to be the worst fighting game in the series. EGM was one of the magazines that referred to it as "the worst Mortal Kombat game" and said it had "laughably bad 3D combat" as well. EGM also quoted that in the retro section of one EGM it said that "they were wrong when they thought it was good" when they previewed it back in EGM #99. -----signature----- Each time I log in I will change my icon to a classic mk character.

	i like both games equally n street fighter 4 lks gr8 which is annoyin cos they both come out at around the same time but mk vs dc lks wicked, n considerin armageddon was reli fun 2 play im lkin forward to mk vs dc and sf4. tekken n dead or alive are also sum kl games..

	eh you probably did X but..im a new person btw if you looking for psp titles get street fighter alpha 3 MAX...its probably one of the best series in graphics gameplay etc....and very cheap and good online -----signature----- The 2nd mk movie>the dark knight
