It wasn't exactly confirmed before, it was more or less hinted at, albeit a strong hint. Personally, I just didn't want to get my hopes up, and I had a strong feeling the situation would be like MK:DA's, with not enough time to complete 2 fatalities per character. I am glad I was wrong though.

-The Mash-up villain: What prompted the "Amalgamation"? Presumably you can't reveal who the characters are, but will we get to see them in their individual contexts?
