The FAQ was down due to a technical error.
About Smoke probably not being in MK vs DC, it was a quote from an article. I forget which one, there are so many. A shame though, Human Smoke is my #1 favorite character ever !

Because of the "RAGE" influence, character's eyes glow yellow during fatalities.
REPTILE WILL NOT BE IN MK VS DC!!!
Sub-Zero and Scorpion are 90% to be in MK9.
Ed Boon was asked "If he could ask a hardcore MK fan a question, what would it be"?
Ed's answer: "What are the most important features you would want in MK9"?

reptile is nt in the game... i think he definately will be if lobo gets a spot bcos they are both monsters.. nd they work for a master so..
cn u pls tell me wer boon explicitly said no to reptile being in mk vs dc
seeing as the game is T-rated wen a character is abt to perform a fatality their eyes turn yellow bcos then the person whos playing cn decide wether they wud like to see the fatality bein performed

Scorpion wasn't in Mortal Kombat 3, and technically it was Noob Saibot in Mortal Kombat 1. Was Sub-Zero is Special Forces?

When Ed Boon said he wouldn't make a MK game without Scorpion or Sub-Zero, he said it when MKA was released (In one of their bio cards, if I recall correctly), and he was referring to the future of MK.
If you were wondering, there were no ninjas in MK3 because the actor who portrayed the ninjas and Johnny Cage, Daniel Pesina, was fired from Midway for advertising a competitor's game. dressed as Johnny Cage, during production of MK3.

Wikipedia has all that info, but I'll look into the information, its's a good idea, but it's best saved for the final version of the FAQ, when the game or all the info is released.
Thanks for the compliment, but the thanks should truly go to everyone who brought the information to the forum, I only organized and compiled it so it wouldn't be lost in the many pages of the forum.

actually he did say that he was killing every1 off. i was here on these boards when MKA came out and we were all discussing it back then so shut up. Boon is a liar and will never stop lying
