From this image we learn Quan Chi will make a cameo appearance, and it seems Noob is hinted at in the dialogue, it is possible he may make a cameo as well.

The original Sub-Zero died in MK1 and became Noob, who first appeared in MK2. It is believed he was killed by Scorpion's toasty. Though the actual means of Sub-Zero's death is unknown, Scorpion was indeed his killer.

It's possible, but in any case, the Sub-Zero that appeared in MK2 was the younger brother, his ending says so, and I believe Noob's MK2 appearance further confirms this.
Wait a sec, if the original Sub-Zero died between MK2 and MK3, how is it Noob first appears in MK2? Wouldn't this mean he would have had to have killed between MK1 and MK2?
