I can careless if either of the two characters are in the game because I won't be playing with either.
Captain Marvel is the reason why people yell out ''Shazam'' even today and there was a point in time where he sold more than Superman.

This is in no way going to happen. Raiden, behind Sub-Zero and Scorpion, is the most iconic character in the series. For no good reason would Boon and his Midway crew take away Raiden, an important asset, for a minor character. This is naive thinking for anyone. Raiden is to good as Shao Kahn is to evil, he's so important that it is impossible for me to think that he will be swiped from this game for someone on par with Fujin. I respect your theory but I think this is a completely impossible situation for the upcoming game.
