Only problem with that theory is why would you need to freeze someone twice. Also doesn't freezing someone twice freeze yourself.
its not freezing them twice it would just be throwing a better freeze ball bc you got the timing perfect...the other ones just do double bc thats their way of doing extra damage.
I am saying instead of a second ball he throws one that does damage as it hits you and then you hit them

Hmm... maybe, but it's a long shot. My guess is, they have 2 versions of the ice ball and went with 1 of them. I fear that since these videos are the most recent, they went with the blue blob.

It could be but depending on how sub zero freezes if they give you time to add a extra button press in between him loading up and releasing (THE ICE BALL) it could shoot the top picture resulting in maybe a longer freeze time OR opponent takes damage? who knows lol thats just my guess i dont like the blue blob either though KAMEHAMEHA TIMES TEN!!!!1111111111!!

Is it possible that the E3 gameplay is before, instead after? Because Superman's ground pound didn't have shockwaves at E3. I don't think that would be something MKKer's would take away...

To respond to the original post, they really did F things up big time with that. I was never a big Sub-Zero fan but they should keep the spiked iceball it looks good.

Dude you're missing the point. I know the pic I posted was from a blurry video. Yeah, it looks better in that video but it's not the same. The fact is, it's still just a generic ice ball compared to what they had before in the trailer.

I support you Shankdaddy. I also want to throw in there, is it just me or does the beginning of Scorpion's fatality look somewhat different in the old trailer than it did in the gamespot video? I hope they fix the jaw and skull, I find it looks kind of unrealistic. It's still early in development, but I hope they do something about it.

Could you post the link to that video because all the others that I watch it either looked like the one on game trailers or the sharp ones?
