Kung Lao and Liu Kang serve the same purpose, so I doubt they'll both be in. One or the other, but if I had it my way, I'd choose Kung Lao. Not that I dislike Bruce Lee knock-offs, but I prefer monks who throw razor hats.

i know kung lao is 10000 times better but its only right that liu kang makes it he is more iconic...although im sure they can both be in i dont see why not

Because they both serve as the "hero" of the story. Yes, they are both iconic and distinctive characters, but using both is redundant, especially when roster space is so limited. Using Kung Lao and Liu Kang possibly removes Reptile or Sindel. I'd rather have one of them than both of the monks. Wouldn't you?

Get rid of Kabal, Rain, Noob Saibot and Shao Kahn and put in Kitana, Mileena, Cyrax and Kung Lao, and then I'll be happy =D
PS: Daniel Day Lewis=Sindel
Coincedence? Most likely. =P

Where did you pull this roster out of?
Raiden, Liu Kang and an Assassin(most likely Kitana) are missing. Noob and Rain do not have any chances of being in and Shao Kahn is one of the biggest characters in the game, ain't gonna happen. Sindel isn't iconic enough. Kabal seems right but I'll have to double check. Reptile, well we already want him anyways.

noob is a legendary secret character, who has been around from mk 3 and even made it to be subboss in deception. he has a big fanbase for his fighting style and his look and plays a quite important role in the lore of mk (closely related to the big sub-zero).
of course you know that but i want you to remember it and say again that he has no chance of being in the game.

I like those characters just as much as anyone else, but I'm pretty sure the MK roster isn't going to be mostly or even half power rangers.
