Is Kitana going to be in?..if so,will she be able to do her Kiss of Death fatality?...
If she gets in the game,the fatality should not be fast...it should be slow,showing the body parts get air and when full,grow slowly and roundly like a balloon,just like Deadly Alliance,but this way X3
If done to girls,show bigger boobs,even if the clothing xpands and covers 'em..

Kitana has not been announced, but many believe she will be, and as a counterpart to Wonderwoman, who is also highly believed to be in, though, also not confirmed.
Don't hope for fatalities that cause bodies to explode, the game will be T rated, so that type of gore will not appear.

This Video features both Scorpion's Fatality, and Superman's Brutality. From this I gather that the final finishing move names will be Fatality (MK characters and DC Villains) and Brutality (DC Heroes).
Freefall Kombat and Special moves are amongst the highlights...
Superman is already known to have the Heat Vision, however it is now known that he can do this while airborne, allowing to hover for a moment. The freezing animation of his freeze breath is different than that of Sub-Zero's Ice Ball. His ground pound is also a pro move.
Superman's Freefall move shows him blasting his opponent his with a charged up heat vision blast, driving them into the ground.
Flash has a variety of speed based moves, he has a "teleport" run, in which he "zooms" offscreen reappearing on the opposite side of the screen, he has a move involving super-fast punches, he can do the teleport followed by an uppercut, however I am unsure is this is a basic attack after performing the teleport, or a special move altogether. Again he is shown the triple dash spin. There is also a speed based pop-up-juggle special move.
Flash's freefall super-move features him grabbing the opponent by the legs and spinning him around at super-fast speeds and throwing him, slamming him brutally to the ground below.
I wanted to mention a damage effect on Scorpion. After taking some hits, you can clearly see Scorpion's ribcage through a hole in his chest.
Scorpion can do his teleport uppercut while airborne. The classic scissor takedown is another special move, this time slamming the opponent twice against the ground. A new special move revealed is the Summon Fire, returning from MK:A, there seems to be a second version of this move as well.
The freefall super-move has Scorpion spearing his opponent, then swinging him back, then slamming him to the ground.
Sub-Zero shows off his Ice Slide attack as well as the previously seen Ice Teleport and Ice Ball. A brand new move shows Sub-Zero freezing the air over the opponent's head, dropping a block of ice.
Sub-Zero's Freefall Super-move shows him freezing the opponent mid-air and Strikes them, sending smashing into the ground.
The background from Sonya's render is indeed an arena, appearing as a double platform, one of which has a grounded Jet Fighter, it is unknown if the Jet is destructible as part of arena interaction.
Batman's razor-edged Batarang an be thrown into the air, which if it misses, returns to Batman, first striking the opponent's back. He also features a Batarang that can be flung forward as a standard projectile and can throw 2 in a row as part of the "pro moves". His smoke-bomb teleport is similar to the invisibility animation of Reptile in MK2. He also blocks with his cape and has a short Flying Kick special move.
Sonya is shown doing her Rising Bicycle Kick, which can be done downwards while in the air, Cartwheel kick pop-up, Rings projectile (and the "pro" double shot). Also featured is the "kiss of death" stun.
Movement in the game is also 3D, like in the last 3 games, but the focus is on 2D stlye kombat.
Q & A
Question: Will characters be customizeable or have alternate costumes, custom colors?
Answer: (Ed Boon seemed to dodge this question) A character will appear different if both players pick the same character. No real answer to the possibility of alternate costumes was given.
Question: Can you play 2 on 2 like in MK 3 and 4?
Answer: No.
Question: Will there be something like the Krypt?
Answer: There will be special content and additional content like in the collector's edition. There won't be a Krypt per se, but they will have methods of hiding things.
Question: Any animalities or Friendships?
Answer: No, but that's not to say they won't show up ever again, just not in this game.
Question: What kind of mini-games are we going to see?
Answer: None.
*A note: Ed Boon says this IS Mortal Kombat 8 for people who are counting*
Question: In terms of movesets and finishing moves, there were 2 per character, are we looking at similar line-up?
Answer: Yeah, with the special moves, it's actually more per character. Superman has 6 or 7, Flash has the same thing. The final count for fatalities, they haven't come up with yet, because they are still adding that content, but because its part of their focus, thats where a majority of effort will go to.
Question: Does Ed Boon still do Scorpion's voice?
Answer: Yes, but they haven't recorded anything new for this game yet, Ed thinks he will be in the studio recording a new "Get Over Here" line. Gamespot MIGHT record Ed Boon's sound recording session for Scorpion.

Sub-Zero's Kori Blade will appear, although it's function as a special move, basic attack, or combo bonus, is unknown, however, it does shatter after a striking the opponent with it.

Sub-Zero's new version of the Ice Clone, where he freezes himself. If the opponent touches him directly, while he is frozen, they freeze as well. As expected, freezing the opponent twice will backfire of you like in classic MK games.
Scorpion has a new move in which he summons flames around himself. If the opponent approaches too closely, they get burned.

he says its 8 but u know in reality its not because its not part of the Main Story or even Canon. its just the 8th fighting game. just like SF4 is what the 7th? i wanna say

as for here is the list of mk games not including remakes or spin offs

Nobody dies in Mortal Kombat... It's as simple as that. He's just throwing them into the Netherrealm (AKA the character safety deposit box) until he's ready to pull them out again. We're just gonna see certain characters appear in the next MK game.
