Come On? IF I build a PC that could take Crysis why would I want to wast my time on Xbox?
do you think that they will ever port it over to PC? or do I have to wait another five years for an emulator?

im sure a ps3 emulator is ognna take longer than 5 years to com out since ps2 emulators arent even out..anyways

the game looks pretty dark to me and it does seem to be returning to its roots..sonya has her old moves scorpions getting his fatality..haha depends on how you look at it i suppose

Any proof also the last few games have not been unless someone has made it them self from hacking or something!!!!

In one of the interviews mGlottalstop displayed they say this:
"Mortal Kombat 8 has been renamed to Mortal Kombat VS. DC Universe."
But... On http://www.gametrailers.com/gametrailerstv_player.php?ep=26 interview from Gametrailers Boon says something different, derived from the question made in minute 19:13 Boon says that it's possible having two different lines going on, each one with its own aprouches.
Looks like we might have in the future a Mortal Kombat rated for Mature (wich is MK8) and Mortal Kombat vs ... wich is rated for Teen.
What you think?

I know what you're saying, it's common knowledge that Boon would like to have two separate series running at the same time.
What I was trying to point out is that what Boon said about MK8 may not necessarily be true for MK vs. DCU, because they're not the same thing. There may still be a PC release.

I asked because in the past few months, PC gaming has become more affordable, and thus, shows potential for giving the consoles a new, far less controlled, platform to compete against. In the next year, I've been loosely predicting PC gaming popularity to go far up after the 8800 cards go down in price. It would make complete sense for Midway to start making PC ports, even if only a few to test the waters.
If you would buy it, they would sell it to you. They're not here to be d***s, they just need to make sure it's economical.
And I used the word "Emulation" lightly. I usually get a bunch of idiots on forums, but you guys are pretty good at sticking with your statements.
The PS emulation might be good and all, but I'm really looking at the Xbox line. As most of us with emu. experience know, the architecture’s great for straight conversion. Some want the games to be converted, but lately I've been wondering how likely an OS rebuild would work. Dump the HD and Rebuild the GPU, CPU, and RAM usage. Partition management operation upon completion. I kept that part out to ease the post.
(I'm not a fan of PS.)
Let's not turn this into an Emulation Gaming thread, though.

well, you are right, that the 8800 cards are now very affordable..atleast in the US, thus making a PC port makes complete sense, atleast to me..since:
A) the hardware allows it
B) the HW prices are dropping and req. for UE3 are low
C) there is a PC fanbase for MK imo
D) you can hook up a x360 controller or any controller to your PC and play with it
E) emulation would be tough, since the hw req. are huge..i mean, the only well working emules are for very old systems or old consoles like N64,PS1,Xbox..those work perfectly..whereas the PS2 games..lets say, the emulator still doesnt use its full potencial..the games run with bad framerate, slowly..and there isnt just any comp which could run it with everything on on a high resolution..not to mention, there isnt a final version of the PS2 emo, so a PS3/x360 emulator wont be here atleast for 5years...therefore a PC port is the best option...
Im sure it would work..myself, i want to play MK games on PC (new ones)..but cant...and im surely not the only one

Let's hope for a PC port in 1, 2 years tops. Anyway, Epic games had MK8 listed for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC before it was disproved. Do you think maybe they're keeping it as a suprise. I mean they haven't said anything about the Wii either, but surely they will make a version on it.

true. and if the Wii version will make it afterall..i dont see a single reason, no rason at all, why there couldnt be a port to PC..that would be just, ignorant
