Well the reason I chose MK is because they are more interesting to me. If you choose DC because you want something different isn't MK gonna be different when you are fighting DC characters? I still don't know how story mode is gonna play out though so it's hard to say. Will we be able to choose who we play with or is there a predetermined hero/villain for each side? Maybe I will go with DC first if I can choose Joker but if I get stuck with Superman by default then no thanks. I'll wait til I'm done with the MK side.

yea that is wut gets me if they do defaults for each side then how will all characters roles connect and y does it have to b in tht order that would b a more complex story line on the other hand if no default the story line could have ne order according to players and that would b more difficult to create

The best thing they could probably do for a smooth story mode is have different characters playable for different segments of the story mode. I don't know if anyone is familar with the story mode in Super Smash Bros. Brawl but by the end of the story mode you play with pretty much every character (no SSBB flaming please, I know some people here are too insecure, I mean mature to play such a childish game). The reason I would want it like that is because I don't think the story should only revolve around one or two characters. They are all icons so they should all have equal roles. A revolving order is their best bet.
