So we all know that Scorpion is going to have his spear and Sub-Zero will have some method of freezing people, but what other specials would you want the known (or supposed) characters to have?
I've already spoken out about wanting to see Wonder Woman deflect projectiles with her bracers, but I think it would also be cool to return Shang Tsung to his roots and have some method of shapeshifting. While him turning into another character outright is probably not going to fly, why not give him the ability to turn into certain predetermined characters, use their specials, and then switch back?
For instance, Shang would turn into Superman, use his eyelasers, and then turn back. He wouldn't be able to fight in this form, even if the attack is avoided or somehow countered. It's not true Shang, but I think it would be an interesting and unique spin on him.
So, any other ideas?

I got one better he can use their specials like he can freeze but his is wayyy weaker and he could have new fireball attacks and keep the soul steal

I meant that they would not put the ability to change cause it will either:
1.Make him unbeatable
2.Make the game load while he changes
It would only be good if he was a boss

No, no, not at all! A quick change would be instant unless the game was packed with content, and being a fighting game I don't think that's likely. And he can still be attacked, knocked down, and damaged when he changes, and he'd change back into his Shang form immediately.

I hope I didnt missunderstood this thread.
Special Moves that must return
The trademark moves.
We know Sonya is in, its about time she gets her Leg Grab, Energy Rings, Vertical Bicycle kicks back. Give her the Kiss of Death as well and 2 new moves and you have the perfect package.
Assuming Johnny Cage returns, he needs his Nut Punch, his Shadow Uppercut is also a must.
If Jax makes it, they have to give him his Dash Punch and fire balls instead of the machine gun.
etc.
I mean, the trademark special moves should had never been taken away from their characters to begin with.
There is NO excuse this time...they really have to be back.

If Shang Tsung gets his morphing ability back it should be as it was in the older games no matter how "cheap" people can say he is.

yea i think they should have his morph back.. but with a weaker damage as said in a post above.... as for johnny cages "nut punch" i think it should just be a combo... like in MKSM.. .they had his nut punch but it wasn't a special move.. it was just a combo

I hope special projectiles aren't blockable, only duck-underable, jump-overable, and sidestep-awayable.

Agreed(about the nutcracker move). A lot of the moves since MK:DA have made the system of fighting where that could just fit in with other complicated attacks.

I hate the fact that every character in MK has projectiles. I can understand some characters, but not everybody.
Like Jax, he's the guy with cybernetic arms. That's good enough, but no, they had to give him some wierd shooting thing, and what about Goro. He's the guy with four arms, and that's not good enough. You had to give him fire balls! If anything he should breath fire, cuz he's half dragon!

A character with no projectiles would be a HUGE HUGE HUGE disadvantage for them.
It would be like bringing a knife you can't throw to a gun fight.

or what if the split punch was a counter? so you'd always split under their punch or kick etc.
i don't think tsung's morph should be weaker, i know people think it's cheap but to be honest i never did, whilst performing the combination to morph you're pretty open, wasn't the easiest task as the opponent didn't suddenly need to block or something they always had time, and it's not like you can do every move all at the same time kinda thing. i was never particularly skilled with tsung but i'd still never say he was cheap
