We all know that the roster of this game is being made up of the crème de la crème of both the MK and the DC universes. My question is whether or not Sheeva is iconic enough to make the cut. Keep in mind that she was designed to be a female Goro, a hugely popular character. This, by extension, made her hugely popular. I think Sheeva is well-established enough for the MK-side of the roster, but she'd be another step in the already overpopulated speculation that is the females featured in this game.

Nope, not iconic enough. If the roster was 30 on each side then maybe.

Not where I live, in my "comic book fantasy land" people say rational statements like "I think that Sheeva is an iconic Mortal Kombat character." only to be met with the response "Really, what makes you say that?". No half-assed assumptions. If somebody says "I CAN FLY!" I don't yell back that I am The Lord, a sarcastic remark such as that wouldn't make sense. Perhaps you were unable to successfully convey to me what you were thinking, and if that is the case I am sorry for you.

I completely 100% agree with you. IN MY OPINION, Sheeva would be an excellent addition to this game and either Power Girl or Wonderwoman would be a perfect counter for MY favorite Shokan.

Sarcasm is conducted through a variety of means, and the foremost is tonal inflection. The sarcasm you were using requires tonal inflection to be accurately understood. All I was trying to do was to get you to see that if you read that as a statement and not as a sarcastic remark it makes you seem like you don't know what you are talking about.

I think Sheeva only showed up again in Armageddon because Everyone did. Every character [except mokap] has a few die-hard fans that always want to see them return, but I just don't think Sheeva has enough. I actually liked Kintaro myself [of the 3] but I don't plan to ever see him again.

I think Sheeva might actually stand a decent chance, but for an odd reason. I don't think MK vs DCU will feature many non-playable characters. That is to say, unlike previous MK games that often feature an unplayable major boss as well as an unplayable sub boss, I suspect MK vs DCU will may feature a single unplayable boss character. It's also possible the game may feature one unplayable boss from each universe, but in either case, Goro will not be this boss.
So Midway has the option to either include a playable four-armed character or ignore the Shokans entirely. Since Shokans are a big part of the DC mythology, I suspect one will be included. Sheeva is naturally more balanced than Goro or Kintaro because she's never been portrayed as an overwhelming power-house. If Midway wants to include Goro, he would need to be toned-down, and that would steal a good bit of his mystique.
So will the creators opt for a toned-down Goro or a typical Sheeva? Seems she might stand a chance.

I think what you said is true because goro is way more known did her because she has only been in two games
