Iconic enough?

We all know that the roster of this game is being made up of the crème de la crème of both the MK and the DC universes. My question is whether or not Sheeva is iconic enough to make the cut. Keep in mind that she was designed to be a female Goro, a hugely popular character. This, by extension, made her hugely popular. I think Sheeva is well-established enough for the MK-side of the roster, but she'd be another step in the already overpopulated speculation that is the females featured in this game.
Thoughts?

Sheeva is no where near iconic enough. She is probably one of the most FORGETABLE female characters.
I mean, don't get me wrong, I really really like Sheeva, but to say she is iconic is to say Sonya isn't...

To be frank, I'd say Sheeva and Sonya are about equal. People who have never played a Mortal Kombat game will know Sheeva as much as they would Sonya, so much so that most don't remember her name; she's just the four-armed chick that teleports on your head.
Sonya is considered more iconic by fans of the game and the developers, which comprises a surprisingly small part of the total people who have heard of MK and its characters. I know Sonya will make it in and that Sheeva most likely will not, but the only truely iconic female in MK is Kitana. Yes, I know she wasn't introduced until the second game, but she was featured prominently in the film and was played by a much more attractive actress (in my opinion) then the woman who played Sonya. People remember a good pair, y'know?

to say Sheeva is iconic is being dillusional. She is no where near being iconic. If Sheeva is considered "Iconic" then Sonya and Sub Zero are not...

Well it all comes down to which area of the iconic characters they will choose from, she could possibly make it.

LOL, Sheeva is nowhere near the status of Iconic. Being that shes the 3rd Shokan introduced in MK, makes here unoriginal. Of course thats like saying since theres a heep load of humans that the humans are just as unoriginal as a 3rd Shokan but the thing is...What did Sheeva bring to the table that Goro or Kintaro didnt...HELL!!! What did Kintaro or Sheeva bring to the table that Goro didnt? The more Iconic Shokan is Goro.
Now hold on a minute. Time to contradict myself...Sheeva was the first female Shokan in MK, She was the first playable Shokan in an MK game. These rasons however are not sufficiant enough to make Sheeva a likely Candidate for MKvsDC.
Besides, who could she be compared to on the DC side? There is no one, at least I dont think there is. With these strikes against her, its pretty safe to say she wont be in this game.

I think that her being the first (and only) female Shokan, and the first playable Shokan, are both excellent reasons for including her. As to who she would be matched against, I've thought of that too.
Wonder Woman, of course. They're both super-strong women and are probably the only two women between the two franchises that could trade blows. Makes more sense than Sonya, who I don't think would so much as inconvenience WW.

No you're being irrational, In no way does saying "Sheeva is Iconic" say that Sonya is not, it only says that "Sheeva is Iconic". Only saying "Sonya is not Iconic" says that Sonya is not iconic. You can't just go around creating contradictory relationships where there are none.

I think if Goro is in, he'll be representing all of the power monster type characters of MK. They would put him against a power monster type of DC and that's that.
If they made an MK vs DC 2 though, then I'd say Shiva would be in.

Sheeva's my all time favorite when it comes to MK charactes, but no, I just can't conceive any possible way for her to be in this.
Which is really sad for me, I fear Armageddon may be the first and last time I ever get to see her in a 3D MK game.
