I personally voted for both. I like MK more than DC, but DC is starting to grow on me. Not that I hated it at first. I was just ignorant of the abilities of the heroes and villains. Now, the more info I'm learning about the DCU (especially on the Flash side), the more I like them.

Both. Slightly more the DCU if I had to choose.

My fondness for Mortal Kombat simply stems from nostalgic gaming memories. Playing that first game, using the blood code, seeing the fatalities and the graphic difference compared to the other games of the time were fun times. Seeing fatalities for the first time and, better yet, getting the info from friends or a gaming magazine and performing it myself was quite the thrill when it meant something.

As for the DC Universe, I've just been a comic fan for most of my life. DC, Marvel, Darkhorse...they're all good with me. It's all about the story, not the publisher. With DC coming into the fray, I've got the chance to see some of the most iconic comic figures duking it out with characters I'd never thought they'd meet outside of fanfiction or an unlikely "what if" discussion.

I like both. I've been a Batman fan for years, probably longer than anything I've ever been a fan of. MK I've followed since around the same time MK 1 hit arcades. Both are awesome, but I totally disagree with having them in the same game for certain multiple reasons I've stated in the past.

well batfan those that say "well duh midway" mostly ether have a personality of a cardboard and go with the safest bet.
if this was voted in (A/the) dc forum then you would get the "duh" "the reasonable" too.
and i bet only a hand full care about that happens in mk vs. dc seeing how heroes die more times than all the mk characters combine even the deaths liu kang, taven have caused in their games.

Theres no reason to hate a game if you don't know the story or the gameplay or the finshers or the playable characters, speshally if you like both mk and dc, that is just ignorant criticism.

It is entirely possible to like both but be opposed to the concept of mixing the two. There's a few people here like me that feel that way for reasons both similar and different.
