you can't forget some of the cooler heroes and villains other than batman and superman.

Punisher
Villains
Clayface
Penguin
Mr. Freeze
Joker
Bane
please please dont make aqua man into this game, worst move ever

I think they said that they only plan on having like 10-12 characters on each side, I could be wrong. But if thats the case, we should trim the list down based on characters & utility. For example, As awesome as a character like Two-face is, he probably wouldn't be that exciting in a fighting game, while the Penguin on the other hand, can fight with his various umbrella weapons that shoot darts or acid, or uses it like a sword etc. etc.
DC I would go with...
-Joker- can fight & has pranks like spring loaded boxing gloves or a flower that squirts acid etc.
-the Penguin- lots of options with this character, like umbrella that turns to helicopter, or shoots darts etc.
-Scarecrow- Fights with his Scythe & maybe some funky illusion tricks or sumthin
-Aquaman- His hook hand that functions like a harpoon could make for some cool moves, similar to Scorpion
-Mr. Freeze- u know what hes about, sorta like Sub-Zero
-Captain marvel- Fights similar to Superman, but instead of the heat vision, he can yell shazam and use his lightning to hit a close opponent.
-Green Lantern- The ring can make for some awesome & unique attacks
Then add in a magical character like zatanna or Dr. Fate.
Oh, fergot about Wonder woman, but that one is prolly a gimme

If there are only 10-12 playable characters per universe and Batman, Superman, and the Flash are confirmed then we need to narrow down the last 9, and there need to be even Heroes and Villains.
There also need to be good matching characters. Such as Superman -VS- Onaga, Batman -VS- Liu Kang, Hawk & Dove -VS- Noob & Smoke etc.
It will be interesting to see how far they push the teen rating.
