sorry if this has been posted before but what do you think DC fans reactions are?
i wonder if they thinbk the no fatalities idea is good

im a fan of MK and i think its good not to have them because i dont see supermans head getting ripped off and i dont see DC characters doing fatalities to MK people

I was on a DC message board not too long ago, and to my surprise, not a lot of people there were replying to any of the questions about this crossover.

DC fans right now have more on their minds then this. One movie coming out soon, four in production, various comic story lines coming to a close, the return of Barry Allen, etc I am excited about a new game, but I am also hoping for a sequel to JLH and looking at various non-DC things too. You don't need to have a one track mind to be a fan.

because dc fans unlike mk fans doesn't care about this game on terms that it would ruin anything, why well they have the multiple universe continuty where we don't so to them mk is just facing 1% of dcu and that just happenly have every one from every universe ... even the super mario sunshine one!

Even though it dropped 50% in box office earnings (typical of summer blockbusters), it's not as if it had any viable competition to begin with last weekend. Speed Racer? What Happens in Vegas? Please.

I'm a MK fan and a DC fan. I was excited about this whole thing, I was sort of suprised by the haters, but not that much. I'm curious to see who they'll pick for both sides, although I can probably predict them for you.
MK: anyone that appeared in MK1 plus Shao Khan and Jax.
DC: any founding member of the JLA, Joker, Darkseid and two more suprises.
I expected some hate and criticism, but my God! Not to this extent. People are jumping in front of buses because there are no fatalities. Give it a break! Mortal Kombat is more than just fatalities. It's a pioneer in the fighting game genre. If the fighting mechanic is lousy, I'll be the first to complain about it. But if the fighting is tight, then I'll be the first to tell all the naysayers how much they're missing out on.
Let's remember that when it first came out, X-Men vs. Street Fighter was considered a stupid idea.

I'm a member on the DC boards, there are a few topics about MK VS DC. In the bat forums the main focus is on the Tim Drake becoming Batman thing, and the upcoming movie. Some to my suprise wanted fatalities in as well.
