I have been doin some searchin and some results show that MK8 is indeed a crossover game... which is MK vs DC ! i am like wtf.. how could this be? Or is that just a rumor and not true?
SO Mk vs DC = Mk8
Plz someone confirm this for me if true

i seriously hope it isn't.. i just hope that this Mk vs DC game is just like a like new game that will have its own line of gaming players or somethin while MK can still have its games .. like have Midway and WB make the MK vs DC spin offs while still Midway makes seperate MK games u know?
I just hope bOon is knowing what he is doing..
wait didn't he say somethin like it would be its own new game and such? like i think he said that in an interview

These games cost millions to develop, test, market, produce, and ship. Having two projects at once is very risky and highly unlikely... even for software behemoths like Microsoft?

Well like doesn't midway work on more than one game at once? Like there are different midway loactions throughout the USA.. which means like they actually could be working on different games and transfer over files and such.. and they have different sectors and such of employees.. like they just couldn't be focusin on MK vs. DC for like the past year or two. Like aren't they also workin on TNA IMPACT? along with MK vs DC

well u stated .."two projects at once" which i thought meant... 2 games at once which i think is correct on that term .. lol and i think u are just hatin on me cuz i hated on u earlier about u changin ur mind.. but i was speakin da truth... and i dnt see why u had to post why not more than one "project' could be in production at midway ... it had nothin to do with my topic =]

It's both and none. If by MK8 you mean a direct continuation on Armageddon, it's likely not. The whole point of Armageddon was to "end the world", so to speak. Because the story was WAY too convoluted. So I doubt it's like that. I don't know what Scorpion does on his downtime when he isn't persuing a vendetta, but this'll likely not have him seeking his latest one(Elder Gods).
But in the sense it's an entry in a fighting game series, it is. Like Tekken Tag, or DOA1/2 for Xbox.

NO.
It's little spin-off and HAS to be non-canon.
The real MK8 should be M rated, have fatalities and MK only.
IF Boon makes this MK8 or canon then MK is dead for me.

but u usually dont give it a number or else Tekkan Tag would have been given one and Marvel vs Street Fighter would have been given one and SF4 would not be SF4. so yes it is the 8th fighter but not considered MK8 because in an interview Boon said this may be the start of a spin off franchise that will run kinda side by side with the old MK.
