I changed my mind... I saw on another topic that the game may have finishers. Finishers are 10 times better than fatalities. I am familiar with them from Marvel Nemesis: Rise of the Imperfects. I loved that game for many reasons; one of them was the finishers, (second reason: I was ranked #1). The finishers were more impressive than any fatality I've seen. And there was no need for blood. They were more realistic and actually more satisfying to pull off. Of course, the nice thing about finishers is, they are generally done mid-match (on Marvel Nemesis, Eternal Champions, and Guilty Gear). They become part of the strategy and make the fight much more interesting. That being said... I take back what I said earlier... maybe maybe MK with a T rating and without the over-the-top violence could work. Of course, the must have a Kreate-a-Fighter and online play. What do you think?

U are rly weird AboveLORDGOD! LOL like first u make a topic bout how u say the game isn't gonna sell and then there is this topic..!! ANd u just changed ur mind just cuz of finishers?? So what about characters and stages? What if there were 10 finishers per character.. but only 4 characters in the game.. and only bout 8 stages? LoL finishers or no finishers.. the game will still rock!

i think it would work just fine as long as the game play is solid,and it had some good modes to play like tag team, kreate a fighter,and maybe a fighter editor.I think the game will be great it already showes good graphics.if it does well maybe we will see mk vs marvel?

I changed my mind  Marvel Nemesis was T rated and It had finishers... If MK characters were in that too... I would have like it even more.

Ok, well,
1) Daredevil uses his billy club to break your knees, then your jaw, flip around you, then break your wrist, and finally snap your neck.
2) Thing would pick you up with one hand and then slam you like a ragdoll about 4 times and until you flop like you have no bones.
3) Wink would teleport around you, slashing you with her claws, then throw you up into the air, teleport into the air to throw you back down, then teleport just below you so that you fall directly onto her blades.
4) Wolverine would impale you in the stomach, roar, throw you to the ground, and the go feral with his claws on your mid section.
5) Johnny Ohm will 'baptize' you with lightning. He would place his hand on your forehead and force you to bow to him. Once on your knees, you start jerking wildly from the electrical shocks until you start smoking and then die.
6) Elektra also had a nice one. She would throw her sai and it would impale you in the chest. As you stagger back, she would throw a second sai straight up into the air and start walk toward you. As it falls she pulls off a spin kick to kick the falling sai into your skull (right between you eyes). She the walks over, takes her sais out, and goes about her business as if it was something routine. Very convincing of her cool nerve persona.
There was no blood or dismemberment (as is characteristic of a fatality) in any of them yet they were, in some ways, more graphic than fatalities. They are more realistic... more believable.
Fatalities are generally not so engaging... For example, MKA had the Jax-style head pop (f,f->B) or arm/spine rip. All you see there is a guy exploding a head, ripping out a spine, or pulling off an arm. They are only performed at the end of the match (after opponent has no life left).
Finishers , on the otherhand, are more stylized, character specific, and don't necessarily result in death. They are performed during the match unlike fatalities. They can be used like special moves that end a match. They don't involve dismemberment. They are more like brutalities than anything else in MK.

The finishers in marvel nemisis were satisfying when i played the game either way i like finishers and fatalities and i hope kreate-a-fighter is in MKDC, if not im still buying MKDC

If you've played Marvel Nemesis, Guilty Gear, or Eternal Champions then you've already seen finishers and used them. They are great for turning the match around and more any match much more interesting because they can end at any time (given certain conditions).
I hope this MK moves to finishers. Maybe they will since Marvel did it in the Marvel Nemesis game. Afterall, DC has 'got to keep up with the Jones's!'
