I'm not buying it when it hits store shelves. If you don't like this idea, then speak with your wallet when it comes out. I'll wait for a real sequel, not one that pairs two good franchises up that do not belong together in the same game due to several serious incompatibility factors.

this game will sell because Mortal Kombat fans (like my self) will buy it for there love of those charicters, DC fans will buy it for the same reason and video game fans will buy it because the want to see if the game is good or not.

Kreate A Fighter sucked. Kreating Fatalities sucked too. If they gave Kreate A Fighter more freedom like button input, self-made kombos and good clothes for males it wouldn't fail so hard. Hell, the only good fighter creation is in wrestling games like SvR, where you have real freedom. You can't even make fat people.
The Game will do fine, by the way.

ppl the true problem i the whole idea.
sorru to be that rough but is the truth.
nobody is interested in a vs DC game,neither DC Comics fanboys that are waiting fro their own DC only games.
MK is dying and everybody here,starting from Ed Boon is standing and watching ti dying without move a hand.
Online play:nobody si interested in the game,except for very few thousands ppl world wide.Instead a very underrated game like Shaolin Monks sells out over a million of copies.
Kreate a fighter:good idea,but this should not take space from the DVD9 or the Blue Ray(which is not infinite).
I still prefer they release new characters on XBOX LIVE or PSstore
fatalities:fuck out the T for teen rating and at least give old school gory fatal moves to MK fighters,in Mk characters vs MK characters games.
They can use finishing moves in the crossover games or the DC only fights.

i agree with the person who started this. they have also made soooo many char's i mean theres over 100 chars or so... and there only using 10... and most of the char's they have picked are boring.
i also think Create a char should be in it but more indepth it was great on the other one but there wasnt enough things to keep u busy.
start pleasing the loyal ones.

...hmm i been here long than you and had met people like you who complain on bio's they wanted every one to have one than the small hand full. know what happen nothing all they did was wasted bandwidth creating threads on how midway was ruining the game they bought. because they think buying more if it makes you closer to the development team so you would have enough control well cinder told them no more roits broke out and 88% that join left or stay in that board posting "do you like what i like" threads wasting more bandwidth causing midway to shut down from it.

i think officaily this is the only forum im registerd i gave up going on forums. but i just had to come on here and post me opinion MK is one of my fav's and ur just going into un nessary personal details maybe u have been here longer then me who cares get a life. im done tlkin to u this is about MK not about what u think u kno.

IF they are including KAF, which I doubt, here's what they should do:
KAF failed for several reasons, but it was ridiculously overpowered. Making it more flexible in terms of fighting styles isn't the right thing to do. It would only be more overpowered.
I'd rather have preset fighting styles(like in SC), but more unique instead of just having the moves from many different fighters jumbled together. This should make them more balanced too, compared to the other characters. Same with special moves, the ability to choose your own moves is too overpowered.
More design options, to create characters that don't make it into the game. They're obviously not going to include all the popular characters, having the ability to create them would make up for some omissions on both sides.
On to the other issue, roster:
It seems odd that they go down to 20-22 from 60+, but MKD was much better than MKA and had only 30ish. The characters had more moves, more flair and the story was decent. Bringing up the roster has never helped a fighting game, the best games are usually the games that make innovations to the series(Soul Calibur, Tekken 3, Street Fighter 2), not the game with the biggest roster.
Having a smaller, concentrated roster means they'll have more time to make good game mechanics and the individual characters will have more moves. In short, it would be less superficially impressive, but at it's core it's a better game(hopefully).

I don't think it will. Honestly, I don't care if this game sells more copies than GTA4. I'm still against the idea and I won't buy it.

I'll buy it! It must be online and have a Kreate a Fighter! Once you've played online with YOUR own Kreated fighter... nothing else comes close.
