Note that this is not an interview, nor does it release any new information.
This was a piece brought on by the announcement of MK vs. DC. A few things he says here that I thought were note worthy. He calls this MK vs DC "greedily unoriginal", and says "the result is pretty stupid". But halfway through he sounds like your average MK only (or MK heavy) fan, like a beaten dog that originally hated this idea, but realizes no matter what happens with this game will happen and no amount of complaining or whining is going to change that. He gives Boon props for coming up with an actual story as to how these two universes came together, something other crossovers rarely try to do.
He also compares this game to the fighting genre in general, rather as an MK fan, which is what alot of fans have resorted to doing, saying "you might think it's corny to have Batman and Super Man in Mortal Kombat, but it's better than them just recoloring a ninja and calling it a new character." and "if you can accept the complete ridiculousness ingrained in the basic concept of fighting games, what's a little more stupidity?".

Agreed. It's only through taking chances we grow--
(or can claim to be able to survive chaos realm.)

It is not wrong for people to share their opinions on what they think is a bad idea, or game; and explain why they think so. As is it not wrong for those who like it to share theirs.
You can buy the game when it comes out, no problem for you.
