Not too many people think music is that important, I DISAGREE! Ok Metal is the only music for MK! that or some type of tribal, anything with agression.
Here are some of my personal Music choices that would be a good influence for the games music.
Slaughtered-Pantera
Destroy Everything-Hatebreed
Drag the Waters-Pantera
Dig-Mudvayne
Sic-Slipknot
Fever Dream-Tyler Bates
Ruin-Lamb of God
Seizure of Power- RE soundtrack
and ive got 100's more, how bout your takes on the music.

YES!!! one of my personaly favorite fav. songs.
ohh and another is Requiem for a Dream, not metal but very very epic. if you guys havn't heard it go listen to it,

Metal yes.
Liscense music, no.
They should add more Metal-ish sounding music in the game just like the theme from the Hell stage in Armageddon, it fit so perfect with the game. Reason why I don't want liscense music in, because it always fails to me. There's always gonna be that one song or band that you're not gonna like. Lamb of God is okay only because I like the music, but I can't stand the vocals on the lead singer, or any other band that has a lead singer that constantly croaks like a frog and then scream like they're getting their ass beat by something hot.
Unless they can add a feature in which songs you want to be played then I'm in. But I just rather have instrumental metal like the Armageddon one.

this works for me as well, the music in MK Deception in the red dragons lair (whatever it's called) was one of my favorite music's up to date. Oh and disturbed works to

Well thats why i said influence, and I love Lamb of god! the whole yelling is heavy. just not too much Death Metal. thats what your thinking of, the whole frog thing and screeching. really not that heavy.

I dont know man, alot of death metal that have song names like, Terrorize,Brutalize,Sodomize. or Grotesque Impalement dont appeal to me, its not as heavy, alot of times they dont even yell, they kind of just talk really low. not as heavy to me. not nearly as much agression as alot of Pantera or Lamb of God.

I think the kind of music your talking about is Grindcore which sounds more like emocore being played on a broken amplifier

honestly, well yeah its heavy!! but i find other things heavier and more agressive. my only problem with that kind of metal is its too unorcastrated. i like power riffs alot!! and intense yelling.
