Well when was the last time you saw Jax wrestle a Great White? Also, with his control of water, I say he would rust those stupid muscle enhancers off Jax's arms. He is a popular choice? Maybe not, but is he a logical one? Damn right. Aquaman needs to have his beard, even a short one would due, he needs to look like a MAN, not a clean shaved boy. For voice actors, grab the guy from JLU, at least then you would have a badass character instead of a Super Friend.

On that note, watch JLU, take a look at who Aquaman is actually supposed to be, not this campy pansy, but a take-no-prisoners ruler of Atlantis.

Well he seems powerful. but i think Jax would win. Jax's arms are resistant to about anything even acid, i dont think alittle water would rust it. and once hes using his fancy water moves jax would just clearly run up to him and give him a nice straight to the face...jax wins...flawless victory!

Let's think for a minute...Jaxes health dosen't go down any lower than anyone elses when Rain shoots water at him. It's pretty easy to put Aquaman down when comparing him to other people...You have to see his individual powers and think they are cool by themselves. Our favorite super heroes aren't based on who would win, because it would be Superman hands down. Unless of course your favorite hero is Superman. Remember when Shao Kahn took it to Jax in the MKA intro? We know Jax can't beat Shao Kahn, so therefore he shouldn't be in the game, right? MK would just be Liu Kang and Shao Kahn with that analogy. Even then, Liu Kang is too much unless he is handicapped. You see, the fact of the matter is, Superman CAN, 100%, without a shadow of a doubt, kick your favorite characters ass with ease, regardless on who it is. He has beaten Metallo several times, who's source of power is Kryptonite, regardless of his equipment he needs, he DOES have it and IS ready...I dislike Superman, but with all of this "compared to" talk, Superman is the only one who even deserves to be in this game. I mean, Superman got killed by Doomsday, just to come back again. He is too much.

Godhood tends to bring varying degrees of power depending on the character. Despite the title, both the video game and comic medium has had their share of gods that were clearly less than omnipotent. Raiden's no light weight, but based on cutscenes(which is a more solid representation than players' skills), I'd argue that he doesn't display the power to ake a majority in a fight, at least if it's based on Outworld, though that's assuming Superman's powers functioned normally there, too. For all I know they both might be handicapped in that environment.

Plus I don't believe Batman's ever beaten Superman without some degree of aid from other characters. Anything in mind?

Well raiden's abilities as a god havn't really been test when he's not fighting in mortal kombat. but being a god and immortal and all im sure Superman couldn't beat him 100%, if he could beat him at all, raidens got superior fighting skill, and the power level of a god. so Superman would find out soon that he not all powerful agianst everyone

That's what I was pointing out- the power level of a god fluctuates wildly in any medium I can think of. Just because it's attached to one's rank doesn't definitively give one a state of omnipotence. Didn't Sub-Zero even defeat another god in his side series?

In no way am I supporting the idea that Superman could take on and beat everyone; As I also said, the detailed scene of Raiden in combat happens in Outworld, where, if I'm not mistaken, his powers are weakened to an unknown degree.
