Will the game be good? I dont know. To some it will be and to some it wont.. Now Is it a bad idea.. YES. I personaly wont be buying this game, due to the fact of the cross-over. Maybe I'll rent it when I see if the gameplay has actualy changed like boon promissed. Which I doubt. Just like he said this MK was going to be darker,  Please.. What so Dark about being rated T... I dont even wanna get into the that.

guess u dont read interviews? Boon was 8 months into the developement of the NEXT GEN OF MK when Midways presented the Crossover Idea. dont forget he doesnt make the call Midway does

BIG NO! PERIOD!
I agree with everyone who voted NO. We are huge fans of MK and to get mixed with childish characters from DC that we used to read when we were little is a very TERRIBLE choice. Sorry guys. Fighting Batman or Superman is something that i would definately laugh about.
I can tell you now that I won't be buying this version of the game. I got every version they ever released for collection purposes but this one..I'll skip for sure. If i was 12-13 years of age..I would ask my parents to buy me this game..since all the rest of the games were brutal and this one seems like its for kids eventhough there is blood and stuff in it..Just not interested at all..sorry.
It seems that Midway had ran out of ideas for MK and wanted to take on DC characters since they are throwing out so many CGI movies these days. The movies are great but MK vs DC? DAMN..i am running to the store and will be buying something from Capcom...
I hope MK vs DC will do well on the shelf. Cheerz..

Rated T? I did not even know that...I am sure ill let my friends know as well..about the T.
Jeez..i bet you a 100% none of my friends will be buying this game including me...Shame i have to part this time. I might rent it to my nephew. This game was intended to be brutal with all kinds of fatalities and tricks etc..now it became a T...Damn..who made that decision up...DC? I hope DC is not trying to buy Midway..that would SUCK..

I read them and saw them both aswell. So you're guess is wrong. Which is why I would like you to explain to me why he clearly said this ...
"GameTap: When you sat down to design this game, what were your goals? And by the way, when did you start working on this game?
Ed Boon: When Mortal Kombat Armageddon was complete in 2006, we started working on this having no knowledge of including DC characters. We started planning out the game. The DC Universe idea was presented to us, and we talked it over.
My idea was that for this next generation of systems and MK, we needed to do something really different. We needed to make a dramatic change. Even something that will attract attention and may cause controversy. And DC filled a lot of those goals."
ED Boon wanted this Idea. Yea Midway was involved, But Dont tell me ED didnt want to... You know, I Don't care if the game gets made or not. I've been let down by this Team a long time ago. So Im use to it. And for some reason I keep on buying every special edition Of MK that comes out, I guess is my childhood love I have for MK.. BUT THIS TIME IT WONT HAPPEN... Not this DC joke..
