what would any1 gain from it? first of all u can only vote once. second u can get in trouble for making more than one account and u would need alot of email addresses. finally people will still have their own opinion no matter what the poll shows

Frankly, I think someone is padding the Yes votes...
Which can be done by using a 3rd party website that masks/changes your IP Address. (I use them to pad the votes on GameFAQs character battles all the time.)
"No" was the clear majority for the 1st 48 hours of this poll, and all of a sudden, Yes has shot up 20-30 votes to be neck and neck.
I'm inclined to suspect iceberg... merely because a) he's been preaching his lungs out for the pro side of this game all over these forums since day one, and b) he's so keen to justify the suddenly inflated number of "yes" votes with his repeated claim that "people want to change their votes!"...
I voted No the 1st day good sir, and have absolutely no desire to change my vote. We haven't gotten any new information since the 1st day, why would I, or anyone else who thought it would suck then think it would suck any less now? It's been like... 3 days, Nothing has even changed yet.
BUT... I could be wrong, he could have nothing to do with it. I'm in no position to point fingers. But I do think someone is padding votes, in an effort to generate positive sympathy for the game... by alleviating the pressure of what used to be a very lopsided poll.

I know some people like the idea of this game and want to see it. As for the changing of votes, I'm sure some people wish they could. On both sides. If someone likes this game, then that's them. I don't have a problem with it, and I hope no one has a problem with me disliking this game either.

I sincerely hope no one cares enough about a Message Board poll to pad the results.
More likely, I think the people who voted "No" have such a strong desire for mass opposition to this game that they'd rather believe someone is playing with the poll than accept that many in this community are actually optimistic with this new direction.
That's just my inference, though.
