MK is somewhat of a superhero game aswell, not the whole, liberty and justice for all superhero but the good vs. evil superhero. If you look at it this way... Ed Boon is taking in someone else's product which is some really heavy weight to be put on ones shoulder especially since he gets all the blame for everything that goes wrong.

He's making this game and only including 20-22 characters(as we know so far). We all know he can do much much more but taking that risk of a limited sized roster makes it seem like he's going to try very hard not to dissapoint the DC people and its fans.

Now I've heard a whole bunch of times and I'm sure Ed Boon has probably thought of it before. DC has really nothing when it comes to DC games in the recent years. So Ed Boon will probably want to not only make this a great game for MK fans but also make it a game that DC fans are waiting for. A good game.

..... That's hope though.. and hopefully it's true.

You want popularity, partner up with where the money is. I'm pretty sure Stan Lee wouldn't refuse such an opprotunity. aside from the Marvel universe, why not pair our favoite bloodsoaked brutes with characters from the Street Fighter Universe(God knows we've been waiting), or King of Fighters, or the Dragonball Z Universe. Hell, Pokemon has a better chance at makin the cut than even half the characters from DC. Ok maybe a bit exaggeratory, but still you get my point. all in all, I'll still give the game a chance, as I am a supporter of the MK universe period, and you never know: It might be better than we think. But as a fan I just feel this just may be Midway's worst mistake.
