Mortal Kombat vs Killer Instinct

Hi, I've been playing MK games since the first opus.
MK 1 was great, MK II greater ( best MK ) , the other games were good too, but this last one ...... I'm really shocked,
Batman vs Sub Zero......the mythical Sub Zero !
I also heard that Superman will be in the game, come on guys Superman in a Mortal KOMBAT !!! That's foolish.
Midway, Are you really out of ideas ?
In the early ninties I played a very good game on my SNES : Killer Instinct developped by Midway, it was an MK like game with fatalities and good characters . So why didn't you think about making a Mortal Kombat vs Killer Instinct with a cover showing SUB ZERO facing Glacius or Scorpion facing Cinder . I personally think that such a game would rock !

I remember Killer Instinct Gold for the N64. That was/is a great game. Just imagine Jago vs. Scropin. =) Although, I would like to see MK vs War Gods(N64). Just... add some more gods and goddesses, ya know? Like Thor, Odin, Posideon, Freya, or Athena. Also, give Vallah some clothes. Add more,cooler, fatalities. Sorry if that last bit was off topic, but this brought back old memories. Haldir out.

well thats even worse.
the Wii doesnt support the Unreal 3 engine, which means that you have just made a game that is incompatible with the system you are trying to put it on.

Nintendo owns the rights to KI1 and KI2 for arcade and consoles. That's what has been holding up any chances of a re-release of KI1 or KI2 for XBLA. But RARE could make a new one still it sounds like.

Nintendo owns KI Gold as well. Basically everything for KI that already exists was created when RARE was under Nintendo and nintendo is the owner on the copyrights, with Rare listed as a party for hire to develop it.

Nintendo is just the Publisher along with RARE, the developer was RARE.
