Kintaor is one of my other favorites. The Second Shokan of the series and the coolest looking one.

Who would you say are your favourites and/or how many are there? And is there any characters that you like but feel are done from a story point of view? And if so, who would they be?

i liked kintaro too..lol mk has too many characters i hope at least 35 get knocked off during armageddon because its hard to keep up with the official story when you got like 64 fighters

I agree!  And the key is to stick to your guns and keep them dead, not retconning them and saying "you know, we think we'd like to bring 'such-and-such' back". DON'T DO IT! If you think you'd like to bring someone back, don't have him (or her) die, say they were injured and/or disappeared. (Keeps fans guessing too!) But at the same time, there are too many characters now and some are either redundant or uninteresing and have nowhere to go, so killing them off is truly the best thing to do. So don't be chicken and make some hard decisions about the MK characters and stick with it. I'm always thinking up ways that characters can end PERMANENTLY. I think I've almost done the entire roster of Armageddon at some point. (I know there's a few I haven't done yet, as maybe some more info about them would be good, which is why I need the Armageddon bios.)

yeah honestly..they also added WAYYY too many characters instead of keeping old ones..i hated how all the favs from umk3 disappeared..like sektor and stryker for example ;/
take the umk3 cast ...add johnny cage raiden kenshi quan chi shinnok hotaru fujin taven and tanya...then kill everyone else..IMO use that as the new roster if they are all added into mk9 that would be awesome but they dont have too i think they should just use them and not try to add new characters

I agree! The next stand alone game should have no new characters, focusing on killing off finished characters, bringing back ones who have more story to tell, or changing characters who aren't good but they don't want to kill into more interesting characters.
