He had Kung Lao's movesets, and Kung Lao was one of my two favorite MKDA characters. That probably had something to do with it.

Damn skippy thats true and look who everybody focuses on Liu Kang. Nobody said notin when Shang Tsung, Raiden, Shao Kahn, and Quanchi died and came back. I mean dont get me wrong they haven't been in the spotlight like Liu but they should notice that. Like I said so many time they need to stick to his new story.

I think I'd have to agree! I didn't like Shujinko, but I think the thing that made him playable was the moves, since I did like Kung Lao in DA, which was the only MK game I liked him in. And who was your other DA favourite?

Sonya was the other one. She was a beast with her Tae Kwon Do in MKDA. Too bad she wasn't given much of an upgrade in MKA though.

 Yeah! I really liked Sonya in that game too. She was like Kung Lao in that I didn't really like playing as her until DA, where she was a fav, and she hasn't been as good since.

Yeah, I don't know what it is. But that's the only game where I was really good at playing as her. As a tribute though, my main KAK in Armageddon had her tae kwon do pose.
